At ITS, we manufacture high-quality wooden packaging products such as export crates and pallets for our customers in Northern Ireland. All of our products are ISPM15 certified to ensure that they meet the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15. This standard is crucial in preventing the spread of pests and diseases in wooden packaging, which is especially important for international trade.
ISPM15 certification requires wooden packaging to be made from debarked wood and then subjected to heat treatment and fumigation. The wood must be heated at a minimum of 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes to meet the certification requirements. By using ISPM15-certified packaging, our customers benefit from having pest-free wooden packaging, hassle-free international transport, lighter packaging, and reduced risk of mould and bacteria contamination.
Choosing ITS as your ISPM15 supplier guarantees that you receive reliable and durable products that undergo thorough quality checks before supply. We also recycle our wooden packaging to reduce costs and minimise our environmental impact. If you have any questions about our heat-treated products or our experience in the industry, please feel free to contact us.
